A safe home

The roof is leaking. Men are entering your house whenever they want. You are not sure when you will eat again and have no idea where you can find clean water for drinking. School? You have never stepped in a school. You are 14 years old. Who is taking care of you? Who is providing a safe place for you?

This is a very common story in Uganda and also for the girls in Kimuli Shelter. At the moment we have 6 girls living in Kimuli Shelter between the ages of 15 and 21 years old. In the holidays we have 3 other girls joining in, so then we are with 9 girls. We provide schoolfees, food, clothes, medical coverage but mainly: a safe home with a lot of love.
